OUR PATRON PIETER DIRK UYS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR HUGHEN LOMBARD HONOURED VISITING ROTARIANS MRS DLAMSHA, ROTARIANS AND GUESTS

WELCOME TO A TREASURE WITHIN THE CITY OF CAPE TOWN. WE SEE POVERTY - INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS BUT A COMMUNITY RICH WITH TRADITION AND HEART AND WE KNOW THAT THEY HAVE AMBITIONS AND HOPES FOR A BETTER LIFE, ESPECIALLY THE CHILDREN.

THE CAPE TOWN ROTARY CLUB AND PARTNERS IN SPONSORSHIP THE SWISS CLUB FRAUENFELD ARE PLEASED TO HAVE GIVEN THESE CHILDREN AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE AWARE OF THE IMPACT THAT HIV/AIDS HAS ON A FAMILY, SCHOOL, COMMUNITY, CITY AND COUNTRY. - THE LOSS OF LOVED ONES AND FRIENDS HAS A PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECT ON ALL IN THE COMMUNITY
WE HOPE THAT OUR CONTRIBUTION WILL BE OF BENEFIT TO YOU ALL.
WE IMPLORE THE LEADERS OF THE COMMUNITIES, CITY AND GOVERNMENT TO ACT AS ROLE MODELS AND GUIDE OUR YOUTH – AS THEY ARE OUR FUTURE
WE HAVE HAD A LONG RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MVULA SCHOOL WHERE WE FEED 145 CHILDREN DAILY AND HAVE ESTABLISHED A LIBRARY, STARTED THE BLANKET MAKING PROJECT – DONATED TOWARDS THE ALTERATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS
OUR CLUB THANKS ROSEMAY SMYTH AND DR.ELLEN ANCKER FROM OUR CLUB, WHO ARE TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL AND HAVE GIVEN ENDLESS HOURS OF SUPPORT. WE THANK DR.GERALDINE MITTON FOR HER VERY VALUABLE CONTRIBUTION ESPECIALLY IN FUNDRAISING.

IT IS WITH A FEELING OF PRIDE AND MY PLEASURE ON BEHALF OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF CAPE TOWN TO OFFICIALLY OPEN

After visitng Nyanga in April, I would like to become involved in the concept. I am trying to contact Rosemary or anyone associated with Mvula - but having no luck...how do I make contact?
